Sioux Biochemical, Inc. is a private biotechnology company, founded in 1995  in response to a need for purified proteins from the research community. The company has since expanded its team of scientists, who have decades of experience in processing and protein and hormone purification.

  Sioux Biochemical, Inc. has greatly expanded its product lines and production capabilities and has expanded into a new state-of-the-art facility to allow for future growth and expansion.

  Sioux Biochemical is currently working with biotechnology companies who are pioneering the use of transgenic plants to produce recombinant proteins for the pharmaceutical, animal health and industrial protein markets. We are able to do large scale isolation and purification of recombinant proteins from transgenic grains. Our collaboration network includes major companies and individuals in the transgenic plant arena.  

  Sioux Biochemical has also developed extraction and purification capabilities for non-recombinant products from plants.

Sioux Biochemical produces Sioux-PS an all natural, soy-based phosphatidylserine.
